Stylish in Seconds

You know those days where you don't want to go out to dinner or meet up with your friends because you just don't feel like getting ready...

Prairie New York is the brand for you.

Only thing you have to do is slip a dress over your head and your outfit is ready to go. These dresses have necklines that are embellished with stones that provide just enough on these simple cotton dresses that you don't have to add any jewelry. You can even wear simple shoes and still look fashionable or dress them up with heels.

Here are some of their dresses:

Black and Turquoise Eyelet
Wear black or white shoes with this, or if you happen to have a pair of turquoise shoes in your closet go for it. Feel free to pull your hair up into a chic bun to show of the neckline, and a bun is alot easier than styling your hair anyways right!?

Stone Cami Dress
This bright blue allows this dress to work for fancier occasions. This dress is great for summer since bold colors are everywhere. And right now you can buy this dress 15% off with the promocode: firsttime.

The best place to look for them right now: Hautelook.com!!! You should go there ASAP because the sale ends soon. I just splurged yesterday on a strapless top.

Must Have Bags for Going Out

I realized this when I was packing for my trip to Chicago, I don't really have a handbag for going out. I have an obsession with large bags such as Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM but I'm not going to take it to the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville or a concert on the lawn. I need something small so I'm not hitting people with my giant bag, but big enough so I can fit everything I want in it. And I'm very skeptical about taking leather out because who hasn't been spilled on, and I don't want to ruin any purses!

Here are some of the hottest bags out right now that fit these needs:

Gucci Joy Medium Handbag
A little bit on the large side, but it still works perfectly. Just slide it on your wrist, and off you go. It can even come out in the rain too since there is very little leather.

Longchamp - Planete Nylon Tote
Hurry the orange is on sale for 67 dollars!!! This is probably the perfect bag for going out. This bag is easily cleanable if it gets dirty, and it is the perfect size.

Marc Jacobs Rad Satin
In case your looking for a bag with a long strap. PS: This bag is more expensive at Bloomingdales, so if you want it buy it at Neiman.

Tory Burch Ribbon Clutch

You can never go wrong with Tory Burch. The rich gold accents make this purse extremely versatile. It can be dressy if you'd like, but still casual for a relaxing night on the town.

Elaine Turner bags are on sale at RueLaLa.com. They have some extremely cute bags that are not to be missed. And they are over 50% off!!

The Cheapest and Easiest Trend

Of all the clothes I've been wearing lately, my 15 dollar cobalt blue maxi dress from Forever 21 has gotten me the most compliments. A 16 year old today told me she liked it and then asked to my surprise if she could have it. I was rather baffled.

This dress is my go to dress, you know on those days that nothing in your closet looks good or seems to be in style. It hugs your body just enough to make you look streamlined, but it hides your belly if its not your skinny day :). It's the easiest thing to throw on and walk out the door with.

Buy this trend:

Here's the list of Maxi Dresses on Forever 21. You can buy a designer Maxi Dress, Lily Pulitzer has some really cute ones. But if you can buy one for under $30, why not!!!

How to accessorize:

Shoes: Go with some fun, flashy, flat sandals. Like..

Kors Michael Kors Scorpion Thongs

Steve Madden 'Booggle' Sandal

Jessica Simpson 'Carsi' Sandal

Jewelry: Long Chains Like...

Betsey Johnson Drop Snake Necklace

Betsey Johnson Rhinestone Shoe Necklace

Juicy Couture Charm Catcher Necklace

Best of luck shopping for a Maxi Dress!! Hope your having a Fantastic week.
